California Privacy Rights (CCPA Compliance)

If you are a resident of California, you are provided with specific rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA). These rights are intended to give you transparency and control over how your personal information is collected, used, and shared.

In practice, Sleep++ is designed to operate with minimal data collection. Your sleep data is stored locally on your device and is never transmitted to us. The only limited information that may leave your device relates to advertising for non-subscribers, which is managed by Google’s AdMob system, and even in that case, we have taken steps to disable personalized ads and user tracking. If you choose to integrate with HealthKit, the health data accessed is confined solely to your device and your HealthKit store. No personal information is sold, and no data is disclosed to third parties outside of the narrow technical exceptions described in this policy.

As a California resident, you have the right to request disclosure of the categories and specific pieces of personal information we may have collected about you, the purposes for which such data may have been used, and the categories of third parties (if any) with whom it may have been shared. Given that Sleep++ does not actively collect or store your personal information beyond your device, the scope of such requests is generally limited to advertising-related technical information or any correspondence you voluntarily provide to our support team.

You also have the right to request deletion of your personal information, subject to certain exceptions required by law. Because Sleep++ does not retain your health or sleep data outside of your device, deletion requests typically apply only to limited technical or support records.

In addition, you have the right to opt out of the sale of your personal information. Sleep++ does not sell your personal information and has no intention of doing so. Nonetheless, this right is recognized and honored under California law.

Finally, you are entitled to exercise these rights free of discrimination. This means that using your privacy rights will not result in denial of access to Sleep++, changes in subscription pricing, or reductions in the quality of service.

To exercise any of these rights, you may submit a verifiable request by contacting our support team. For security reasons, and in accordance with the CCPA, we may require you to verify your identity before fulfilling your request.
